In one year, Cyber Aashvast recovers Rs 11 cr lost to frauds
In just one year of its launch, the Cyber Aashvasht project has managed to recover a total of Rs 11.01 crore lost by 5,167 people to cyber
The cyber crime cell has also frozen 72,000 bank accounts, closed down 250 fraud websites and pulled down 850 fake OLX advertisements in the last one year, while addressing some 2,000 complaints of cyber bullying were where a majority of the complainants were women and teenage girls.
